>> Joshua Gibbs took a commanding lead out of the gate as he put himself at an early advantage ahead of Jesse Flock and Colton Eigenmann. Gibbs wrung the neck of his KTM
in an attempt to sprint away at the front of the pack, but he wasn’t able to escape the compounding pressure from the EBR Yamaha backed rider of Jesse Flock. Meanwhile, Ma- son Gonzales was hounding Eigenmann in the battle for the final podium spot, and he was finally able to make the pass stick toward the middle portion of the second lap. Gonzales immediately switched his attention to the battle for 1st posi- tion as he turned the fastest lap of the race and began to close in on the leaders. The checkered flag waited at the finish line for one of the three riders in the leading group to claim it first. Despite the close racing on the final lap, the podium positions didn’t change order as Gibbs threw down an impressive performance by leading the race from start to finish in fairly uncontested fashion.
