>> Kaeden Amerine laid down another great start on his Rides Unlimited KTM ahead of his former teammate of Nate Thrasher. The two of them diced it out for the lead as they propelled out of the gator pit and up onto the dinner table. Christopher Blackmer followed Amerine in 3rd as he attempt- ed to keep pace with the top 2 riders. Thrasher made a pass for the lead on the back section of the course and immedi- ately began to gap his fellow KTM rider. The two of them had been the class of the field for the entirety of the race, but Thrasher just managed to have the edge on Amerine. The battle for 3rd began to heat up as Branden Walther piled the pressure on the Yamaha of Blackmer, but he struggled to find a way around the Yamaha rider, forcing himself to use unorthodox lines that either paid off big time or caused him to lose time. Meanwhile, Thrasher capped of a dominating day of racing with another impending championship on the horizon.
