>> Garrett Marchbanks finally pulled a good start and put his Team Green Kawasaki out front ahead of Levi Newby and Kobe Heffner. The three Kawasakis pushed the pace
at the front of the pack as a gap began to develop between the trio. Marchbanks was in the optimal position to secure the overall victory as he looked to replicate his victory from the first moto. The battle for 2nd was tightening up as the Amsoil Factory Connection Honda of Joe Shimoda and the Team Green Kawasaki of Lance Kobusch began to come into podium contention after unlucky starts. Shimoda was able to force his way past the Yamaha of Justin Rodbell as he launched beside him up the finish line, quickly setting his sights on Heffner in 3rd position. Meanwhile, Marchbanks held a 5 second advantage at the front and only had to bring his Kawasaki to the finish line at a walking pace in order to wrap up the overall. The battle for the podium was closer than it had been all race, but the Kawasaki sweep held strong as Newby and Heffner completed the podium. The Utah native of Marchbanks took the overall in commanding fashion ahead of Newby and Heffner.
