>> Team Green Kawasaki’s Jett Reynolds snagged the holeshot as he immediately began to pull out a lead dropping down into the gator pit. Nate Thrasher and Talon Hawkins were closely in tow on the opening lap. As the the green flag came out to signal the first flying lap, Thrasher put forth all
of his effort in order to stick with Reynold’s and counter his disappearing act by turning the second fastest lap of the race in the process. The Kawasaki rider found a little bit of time
in the tight and twisty section at the bottom of the pit which allowed him a small gap heading up toward the finish line, allotting him just enough of a gap to hold Thrasher at bay
on the final lap. The Seven MX backed KTM rider attempted everything possible in order to close the gap, using different lines that he hadn’t touched all moto, but it wasn’t enough as Reynolds responded by setting the fastest lap of the race as he greeted the checkered flag.
