>> Stockton Stinebaugh is a young Texan looking to make his mark in the Motocross industry. When the practice began in Oklahoma inside Lazy E Arena, he was on everyone’s radar as he was blazing fast. He looked to
be the one to beat in the C division early on. Unfortunately, bad starts and crashes plagued Stockton in the heat races, but when the 250 C Limited lined up for the Main Event, he was ready for redemption. When the ten second board went up, Stockton kept his patience as the other riders were doing their best to nearly jump the gate. He knew all he needed was a good start and when the gate finally dropped, Stockton was ready. He got a great jump and let his Yamaha rocket ship lead the way to the first corner. He was forced outside in the first corner but was still came out near the front. He was now doing his best to avoid the chaos around him and was able to secure the 2nd place position. As the riders made their way through the first lap, Stockton kept his focus and was all over the rear fender of the leader. He began the triple-triple-triple section as they crossed the green flag. Just then, the leader, Benson, made a bobble and Stockton was able to smooth- ly triple by him. He did his best to not allow Benson to retaliate throughout the next few corners. Stockton then put the power down and turned the fastest lap of the race. As his Yamaha navigated through the Oklahoma soil, Stockton was controlling it like a seasoned veteran. He began to encounter the lappers and was doing his best to ride smart. Luckily, he kept his composer and acquired over a five second lead by the time the check- ered flag flew. At only fifteen years old, Stockton Stinebaugh will assuredly be a hot topic in the near future.
