The main event was something Musquin had dreamed about. After a great start, Marvin quickly took the lead in the premier class main event. With pressure from the reigning champi- on, the #25 held his composure and shook off the challenges from his teammate Ryan Dungey. Only two riders have beat Dungey this year and Marvin was on his way to be the third until a familiar named rider came into play. The last lap saw Musquin tangle with a lapped rider by the name of James Stewart. Switching up his lines to get around Stewart, Musquin ended up bobbling and going off the track. The lead was quickly taken over by his teammate Ryan Dungey. Even though he took second place, heartbreak is the only word to describe how this night ended for the very fast rookie.
