>> What a great day for Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider Dean Wilson. Muddy Creek had its fair share of obstacles for the riders but Wilson showed us passion, determination, and consistency. Round five in Tennessee was bound to be an adventure as riders lined up for the first moto. Hearts raced as forty riders went flying into the first turn, bumping and brawling, search- ing for the Holeshot. The number 15 machine was in thirteenth place off the start, but knew that he had to start making some early redemption if he want- ed something to work with moving forward into moto two. Seizing momentum at every opportunity, Wilson was able to find the eighth place position as the checkered flag flew. With a finish like that under his belt, Dean Wilson was definitely a contender for the top ten, or even the top five, overall finish of the day. The second moto was about to be underway and the racers were look- ing for the perfect storm. Consistency proved to be key for Wilson as he ex- ited the first turn in the sixth place spot. With fire in his eyes, he soon makes a pass on Trey Canard and moves into the top five. Dean Wilson found some misfortune at the halfway point and went down, sending him into the sev- enth place position at the checkered flag. Wilson’s solid eighth and seventh place finishes put him an awesome fifth place overall finish in Blountville. We all know how talented and capable of victory he is and I hope to see more results like this out of Dean Wilson for the remainder of the season.
