>> The voters up in Massachusetts nominated Moto-X 338 as
the premiere riding facility across the entire Bay State. It’s located about a half hour west of Springfield, situated at the American Legion Post 338 in Southwick, MA. The first race at The Wick was held in 1973 when a group of motocross Dads from the Legion turned the neighboring woods into a racetrac. It’s one of the most historic tracks across the country as it was the perennial sandtrack on the AMA National schedule for many years. The course is known for it’s ever-changing, rough nature as the sandy terrain de- mands the rider’s maximum effort. It was just returned to the AMA calendar much to the delight of the riders as it has been consid- ered a racer’s track for many years, earning praise from legends such as Bob Hannah, Jeff Stanton, and Ricky Carmichael.
