the Wolverine State as the DOERS made it clear which track rules Michigan. The track is located in Buchanan, Michigan, placed
just on the brink of the Indiana border. The idea for the track was conceived as Gene Ritchie traveled to Buchanan for a snowmobile race about forty years ago. He imagined that the landscape would be perfect to host a motocross track, and two years later he bought the property and turned his dream into a reality. It’s been hosting AMA Nationals since 1974 and is currently considered the center- piece of the series, taking place on the fourth of July. It’s one of the most professional facilities across the entire country and is a rider and fan favorite, exemplified by the drones screaming patrons that flock to the track every year for the National.
