>> 51FIFTY Energy Drink / Yamaha rider Noah McConahy had a roller coaster of a night in Seattle. The hometown rider out of Spokane, Washington proved that he was familiar with the soft and rock riddled, “glacier-till” terrain when he came out swinging in the second heat race of the night. The number 59 machine skyrocketed into the first turn and quickly found himself in a very impressive sixth place position right behind Starling in fifth. The rising of heart rates was evident in these shortened races, if you wanted a trip to the Main Event you had to get it done, and you had to get it done fast. Noah fought hard and finished his heat race in ninth place: the final transfer position and was deservingly heading straight into the Main Event. Seattle’s Best lined up for what everyone knew would be a powerful and unpredictable race. Every bump and rut had become more intensified with each passing lap of the eve- ning and the Main Event would be no different. With the season’s end around the corner, the stakes were high for everyone to get the results that they were searching for. As soon as the gates fell in the Main, Noah McConahy was off to an excellent start and found himself battling for a top ten position very early on. Sadly, after a couple of laps, McConahy faced catastrophe. The number 99 of Chase Marquier had a slight bobble right in front of Noah McConahy, resulting in Noah landing on Chase. The red flag was waived and both riders found themselves down and out of the Main Event.
