>> Dan Reardon of Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha has been riding a consistent season with sitting comfortably 7th in points. Working hard to get on that podium all season long, so far the best Reardon has been able to reach was a 5th place finish. Starting round 7 of the 250 west coast the Yamaha rider was ready to get back to some racing. Qualifying into the night show in 20th, there was a lot of time on the track he was going to need to make up. The Yamaha rider got a solid jump out of the gate right into 6th place. Never gaining or losing any positions through- out the heat race he finished off the race in 6th moving onto the main event. After starting the main event and getting red flagged Reardon had the pre-race jitters all over again for his second main event gate drop of the night. Not getting the greatest jump his second time out of the gate he was sitting back in 15th through the first turn. With way, more riders in front of him than behind him, the #122 needed to find some places to pick up speed on the track. Picking up the mo- mentum throughout the race he battled with Josh Hansen and Reardon was able to come out on top. Never falling victim to the insane amount of ruts on the track he crossed the finish line in 11th place. It was nowhere near his best finish of the season, but with it being the first round back after a long break it was still a good start to the end of the season for the Yamaha rider.
