>> 2018 is a year to remember for the #38 of Luke Renzland as he is having his best Supercross season to date. So far this year he has 6 top 10 nishes out of the 8 rounds so far with his worst nish being 20th last week in Minneapolis and his best being a rst career podium (3rd) in Indianapolis. It is a shame that Luke had that rough weekend in Minneapolis because right now he sits 5th in the East Coast standings with 109 points which is 28 points behind of 4th which is Austin Forkner. The Rookie Forkner is now out with injury and if Luke would’ve nished somewhere inside of the top ten he would have a good chance at getting 4th. Instead he is now at risk of loosing 5th in the standings from tonight’s podium nished Kyle Peters. Luke had a good showing in his heat race where he went from a 6th place start to being outside of the top ten on lap one. Three minutes remained in the heat and Renzland just got himself to the nal transfer position. The Traders Racing Yamaha rider put his head down and began to charge towards the pack up ahead. Once Luke caught the riders he was then able to make quick moves on Cartwright, Mosi- man, and Tucker to get 5th. @lukerenzland38 had a bad jump out of the gate in the main event leaving him in 15th around the turn. The Yamaha mounted rider got to 10th on the opening lap. Renzland went on to get around Williamson for 9th and later got by Ramette for 8th. Sadly Luke had to deal with a hard charging Jeremy Martin and got pushed back to 9th at the end of the race.
One race weekend remains for the East Coast rider and although Luke is holding 5th in the standings it will be a ght to the very nish as Kyle Peters is just two points behind.
