>> The #206 Yamaha rider is a new face in the 250 eld in 2018 but this international racer in no slouch and racing the best the world has to offer is nothing new for him. Thomas has raced all around the world using his impressive nesse around the stadium style of track. He is a 3X UK AX Champ, 1X European SX Champ, and a 1X French SX Champion. With help from his @sr75worldteam and Gareth Swanepoel he was able to get an opportunity to ll in on the Star Racing Yamaha team as most of their roster has been struck with injury in 2018.
Today in Foxborough Thomas had a great showing in qualifying where he was the
4th fastest 250 rider with a 56.153 giving him 2nd gate pick going into his heat race. Ramette got off to a great start in the race and was following only one rider around the rst turn. While trying to follow Zach Osborne around the track Ramette made a small mistake at the end of the long rhythm section that ran along the side lines of the Gillette stadium oor. This mistake made Thomas roll the next two obstacles and brie y drop
to 3rd. The Yamaha rider quickly got back on the throttle and was on the rear wheel
of Cantrell bt the end of the whoops section where he made the move on the inside before taking off the triple. Thomas put lots of space in between himself and Cantrell but another mistake by the Frenchman put himself over the berm. Luckily he was able to keep his machine on two wheels and rejoin the race on the heals of Cantrell. Thomas took the 2nd back from Cantrell and was heading to the main event with 4th gate pick. @thomasramette6 started in 8th in the main and was just behind the top 5 in 6th at the end of lap one. The international racer was holding on well in 6th for most of the race, unfortunately tness may be an issue as he began to fade with 5 minutes remaining. Ramette went from 6th - 10th in the late stages of the race. So far his American inva- sion hasn’t been as successful as he would have hoped but Thomas has one more race to compete in and if he can put in a good result he may start to receive some phone calls that will help him pursue his dream of racing in America full time.
