>> After a solid tenth place finish in Seattle, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Fac- tory Racing rider Dean Wilson came into Utah hungry for a finish within the top ten. The number 15 lined up for a very stacked second heat and was looking to finish within the top four so he could swiftly move directly into the Main Event. Heat two proved to be exciting as battles were happening left and right. Wilson found himself in seventh place early, but was able to contribute to the excitement filling the stadium as he moved into fifth after the white flag flew. Wilson was able to then cross the finish line in fifth- just one spot outside of the top four qualifiers. Close but no cigar for Deano as he found himself lining up for the second Semi race of the night. After an awesome Heat Race, Wilson had to have been feeling pretty confident about the Semi. We all knew he had what it took to stay within the top five and move forward into the Main. Dean Wilson proved himself imme- diately off the Semi start when he found himself in second place, right on the tail of Justin Brayton. With a short, tight layout, Salt Lake City was quickly becoming a battleground for riders. As the checkered flag went out, Brayton and Wilson were practically side-by-side as they went up the face of the finish line triple. Dean Wilson was able to show some true grit and win the Semi by roughly half
a bike length. The Husqvarna was headed to the Main Event. Right off the start of the Main, Wilson found himself in the thirteenth spot., but he was able to once again show the relentlessness that he showed us in the Semi as he worked his way to ninth place, but on the last lap he was passed by Webb and finished the moto in tenth place. Another tenth place for Dean Wilson in Utah, hopefully we can see him capitalize on this in New Jersey and pull off another awesome ride and results within the top ten.
