>> With a mid week crash three weeks ago after his first top
ten finish of the year Bogle decided to line up the following weekend. Unfortunately another big crash in his heat race gave the young Suzuki rider a trip to the hospital with bruised lungs. Justin opted to sit out round 3 and 4 to let his body heal up and come back healthy. In timed qualifying it seemed as if Justin was still struggling with injury, qualifying 14th with a 1:02.488 which was over a full second slower than riders he should be battling with in the main event. The former East Coast Cham- pion quickly silenced the doubters in his heat race where he finished one position out of qualifying and nearly passed last weeks podium finished Chad Reed on the last lap. @justinbo- gle19 was in early contention for the win before finishing a well respected 2nd place to the defending Champ Ryan Dungey. The RCH Yoshimura factory Suzuki rider rounded out the first lap in 14th place in the main event but was slowly picking off riders on route to the top 10. It was 6 minutes into the main event and the #19 was running in 12th, a mistake or bike failure happened to the Suzuki rider and he was forced to pull out of the race, resulting in a last place finish. Justin went to social media to describe his frustration thus far in the 2017 season but states “I’ma keep smiling cuz life is cool, this potential is real, and God is good”. The very likable Bogle will be back at round 6 looking for vengeance mark his words.
