COLTON DERICO
Colton DeRico is a fresh faced Floridian 50cc rider. At 5 years old, you can’t get much fresher. Starting riding at 2 years old, Colton entered the sport following in the footsteps of his older brother Michael DeRico. At Colton’s age, he and his competitors are racing on pure natural talent and how much fun they are having on the bike. In 2015, Colton raced in the 50cc Beginner and 46 Shaft classes with a mix of top ten and 1st place finishes in local Florida and Regional races. His goal for 2016? Loretta Lynn’s. The big dance. Motocross’ biggest Sock Hop. Look for Colton to be up front in the bigger events this year.

Colton cruised to his win in the 51cc 45 Limited class! Sweeping both motos and leading every lap. He set the fastest time of the day of all the 45 year olds with a 3:32.78, less than a minute and a half off Forkner’s Open A Pro Sport pace! Colton also raced in the 51cc 46 class, rounding out the field in 13th. Young DeRico showed that he’s got what it takes to contend for a title in the youngest class at Loretta’s. Looks like he’s ready to throw down at the Ranch!
