-PAUL CAMPBELL
Oftentimes when people are attempting to accomplish a goal, overcome an obstacle, or complete a task -- they reinforce their con dence with a moti- vational phrase, a montra of some sort, and good ‘ole fashioned self-belief. That’s exactly what inspired the inception of Ican Industries as Paul Campbell envisioned a line of goggles that would boast mid to high level features with an affordable price range. He borrowed the name from a phrase he would use to inspire his kids, to push them to new heights, and to prove the age
old determination that anything can be achieved with the right mindset. Campbell has ac- cumulated a plethora of experience throughout his previous endeavors; whether it be ripping around the corn elds in his home state of Iowa on an old beat up dirt bike, throwing down race winning performances at various amateur motocross nationals, serving as a longtime rep for Western Power Sports, or bombing the 30+ class in a local desert race. Campbell has done the groundwork. Although his adult life largely revolved around motorcycles, the native midwesterner has revisited his roots as he’s taken up sprint car racing in the past couple of years. He was enthralled with the sport as a young boy in the Hawkeye state, idolizing those that competed at the local dirt track conveniently bordering his grandma’s farm. After packing up his life and heading west following his high school graduation, Campbell’s gamble on life has paid off as he’s now focused on balancing the responsibilities of raising a family, running a burgeoning business, and pursuing his childhood dream of sprint car racing. We delve into the roots of his life as a motorcycle enthusiast, how he got into amateur motocross, and what lies ahead for Ican Industries as the company continues to ourish.
