Just several months ago Zac Commans didn’t know if he would ever be himself again, let alone
be a professional supercross racer. A horrific crash at an amateur event last year left him in a
medically induced coma for two days. After a few weeks of recovery Commans had to rework his equilibrium from being idle for so long and had to deal with frequent mood swings. He was left to wonder if he would ever be back to who he was before the crash. But after a few weeks of recovery Commans began to feel like himself again and decided he wanted to continue his dream of being a professional supercross racer. After earning his supercross license earlier this year by racing in the Ricky Carmichael Road to Supercross Arenacross series, he has jumped into the 250 West Coast series. Zac Commans has had an inspiring road to the professional ranks that isn’t just a sports story; it’s a life story.
