Carl and Kathy started Donelson Cycles back
in April of 1962. They are still actively working everyday at the shop. In fact there are three generations at the shop working everyday with a forth generation growing up on the sidelines. When Donelson Cycles first open we were
a BSA only dealer. Then in 1963 we took on Yamaha. We are the second oldest Yamaha Dealer in America. Over the years we added Triumph, Norton, Rickman, Ducati, Moto Guzzi, Can-Am, ATK , Honda and then when Triumph came back we were one of the first 50 dealers
to sign on. Today we only have Yamaha, Honda, Triumph and Ducati. However we do have a very large stock of new OEM parts for the old BSA, Triumph, Norton and Yamaha’s.
The entire Donelson family all ride motorcycles. We consider ourselves lucky, we get to live, eat and sleep motorcycles everyday. It is our true passion.
We pride ourselves on having a very knowledgeable sales, parts and service crew. Most of our employees have been with us for years.
Donelson Cycles even has a Museum of old motorcycles and famous Flat Track racing
bikes and leathers. We have always been big supporters of off road riding and racing. The Museum is always open to the public during our regular shop hours.
