Top ten Freddie was at it again for the opening festivities of moto number one, running a 2:11 laptime, trailing Kyle Chisholm and Heath Harrison, who sat just in front. He would stalk Harrison, leading the Alabama ripper roll tide and push through the field as the laps began to dwindle on. Nearing the halfway point, Noren still
read the jersey lettering of Harrison, sitting ninth. He would become frustrated, really taking the red mentality of his Honda
to heart, enraged with aggression Moving up to seventh, he found pressure from Tomac as the race neared its end; and although many would let the weight of number 3 pass on by, Noren decided to throw punches back in retaliation, and create a battle with ET. The battle, although very admirable, wasn’t enough to fend off the Colorado native, and he would eventually cross the checkered in eighth. Order up another number ten on the menu provided by the Budd’s Creek event, as Noren sat in the first digital spot in the opening moments of the second moto. Creeping his way into eighth place by the halfway point, he had seventh at the forefront of his agenda. And with the law of attraction, wanting something, and be willing to work for it, you can obtain it; hence seventh place as the two lap board made an appear- ance. By the checkered flag, Noren would finish seventh and take home seventh overall.
