>> Raymond James Financial institution is a staple among investment banking and asset man- agement services, generating enough revenue to purchase a stadium of large magnitude. With a focus on diversifying resources, and allocating funds into appropriate categories, many times they suggest separating funds into numerous portions, in order to lower the risk of failure. A great idea in theory for the general public, however for the stars of Supercross, this strategy doesn’t quite t. They can’t afford to play it safe and diversify their efforts week after week. They must be fully com- mitted, looking to go all in with a rolling of the dice, aspiring for a gigantic return on every fund they put in. Marvin Musquin’s attitude is a re ection of this. As there’s truly nothing holding him back, as his right hand is seemingly glued to that waf e grip. This notion translated into the Tampa round,
as he was found absolutely destroying the whoop section, just after the tunnel jump. Although they were peaked to the hilt, his train of thought would never lapse. He would click the machine into another gear, blitzing the tops, lap after lap. Rolling through the paddock during the conclusion of practice, he was satis ed with what he accomplished. As the excitement for the heat races esca- lated, he put the machine into overdrive, and the gate would clash. Sliding around the rst turn, the eld really separated themselves through the rst rhythm section. Trying to make as many triple attempts as possible, he looked to sprint early. Clicking off consistent lap times, the track was really beginning to glisten, as the heat had baked the canvas in a broiling effect. However, a Suzuki from behind began to rare their head, eventually leapfrogging near the sand section; it was the num-
ber fourty-six. Battling with the likes of Justin Hill, his times had propelled him to a nal placing of second. The main event was here, with the moonlight putting its’ spotlight on the thousands in at- tendance. He was thriving in it, and his efforts were showing as the cameras were on him. Armored from head to toe in gear to defend his respective territory, no one around him was safe. Running each and every competitor wide, the shrouds of his 450 would be imprinted on the opposition. Tripling onto the table-top after the nish, he would duck inside past the mechanics area, looking
to make his way around Tomac who had moved out front. Cooper Webb was now pushed to the side, and it was the twenty- ve, and three machines. Tomac would then make a mistake, and now Justin Hill would move into second. Musquin wasn’t going to let this play out like the prior scenario however, and would fend off the Suzuki. As the laps continued, Tomac would again peak his fender through, making the pass; not for long however, as Musquin would display one of the most creative passes we had seen in sometime through the switchback section. This burst of encouragement however, would be short lived, as Tomac would overcome and move to the lead. Musquin would nish here, knowing he’d done all in his power.
