>> Broc Tickle has never been the guy to beat when it comes to the Outdoor nationals getting a podium here and there, he has always been just under the radar. Working hard each year to get himself back to the top the RCH/ Yoshimura Suzuki rider has what it takes to be up front. Qualifying for round one up in 6th place with all the title contenders, Tickle is right there speed wise. He got a good jump out of the gate for moto one running right around 8th place. He makes a pass on Bagget on the second lap for 7th, but Bagget wasn’t letting go charging hard to steal back his position. Going back and forth for a minute, Bagget was able to make the pass stick and move back into 7th, leaving Tickle back in 8th. Tickle then returns to 7th when the New Zealand rider, Cody Cooper, falls behind. Riding the rest of the moto smooth- ly the Suzuki rider crossed the finish line in 7th place. Now onto the second moto of the day Tickle was ready for battle once again. Charged up and ready to go Tickle flies out of the gate and into 4th right off the get go. Not messing around the Suzuki rider was charging to get a pass on 3rd. Almost ten minutes into the race Wilson closed the gap and began to do work on Tickle. Unable to hold him off he fell back to 5th. As the race wound down
he lost two more positions to Blake Bagget and Jason Anderson leaving him back in 7th, again. Going 7-7 for the day, Tickle finished round one off with a 5th overall finish thanks to his consistent riding.
