>> Jack Rogers has been a common contender in the AMSOIL Dominator series so far throughout the 2017 season and the wealth of experience he has gained has started to
pay off. The Kawasaki rider already has a victory and a podium in the class from previous rounds of racing, but he was obviously eager to do it again at the inaugural Motofest in the Georgia Dome. Rogers stayed under the radar throughout most of the program -- stay-
ing cool, calm, and collected throughout practice. The New England native had his starts figured out in both of his races, finding himself within the top five in his heat as well as the main. Rogers ended up getting third in his heat race; therefore, earning himself a solid gate pick for the main event. The Kawasaki rider shot out of a cannon in the main event as he found himself bar-to-bar with Carson Mumford in the first corner. He tucked in behind the Honda rider throughout the opening laps and eventually capitalized off of a mistake from the leader, promoting himself into the number one position. Rogers held his composure and clicked off the laps from that point forward, using his valuable AX experience to his advan- tage as he snagged the checkered flag before any of his competitors.
