Jim’s Motorcycle Sales is a family owned dealership in “Beautiful” East Tennessee. Jim’s is now in its 3rd generation. The dealership received it’s first franchise in 1937. The brand was INDIAN. JAMES P HAYES SR. (aka: Jim or to long timers as the “CHIEF”) started the business from his small garage where he serviced and repaired motorcycles. He also held other jobs at the time as he had his eldest son, Jim Jr. to take care of and his second son Kenneth on the way. He worked at the North American Rayon Plant in Elizabethton as well as driving an ice truck and school bus to earn extra income for his growing family. Copy and paste the link below for more history.
