Putting up a bit of a fight Peters lost another spot to decotis. as the checkers were waved Peters finished his heat race in 8th place transferring on to the main event. He starts his main event within the mix of the top ten. Peters was in 8th place but began a decent back to 10th as a couple riders got by. Not wanting to lose any more positions he hangs onto 10th with Cunningham putting the pressure on. He manages to get by Mellross placing him up into 9th. Which he soon loses to Cunningham. The laps went by and the riders spread out, Peters finished the race off with a comfortable 10th place.
