after losing his podium spot last week due to a crash into the over under, alex martin came into round five
with even more drive to succeed. Getting 10th off the start
in the heat race Martin quickly moved his way up to 5th. Holding that position for a while with two more to go he moves his way into 3rd. Then on the final lap Jordan Smith goes down hard through the brutal whoops moving Martin up to second giving him a good transfer spot to the main. Off the gate of the main event Martin began his race within the top ten. Showing 8th on lap one he moves up to 7th right away. The young gun Nichols quickly moves in on the pass pushing Martin back into 8th. He runs most of his race comfortably in that spot staying right behind Chris Alldredge. He then passes Decotis moving on up to 7th, where he will finish out the race.
