JD Beach is one of the most versatile and experienced riders competing
in the 2017 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship. The twenty-five year
old has a plethora of experience in many different series around the world, often splitting his time between road racing and flat track similar to the great American racing legends of the 1970’s and 1980’s. In 2008, Beach was able to compete in the MotoGP Red Bull Rookies Cup in a class stacked with fast competition and he eventually went on to clinch the title ahead of the likes of Luis Salom, Jakub Kornfeil, and Miguel Oliveira. Beach returned to race on American soil and went on to take the AMA Pro Supersport East Championship in 2010. In the first season of MotoAmerica competition, the Washington native had a breakout year in the 2015 Supersport Championship as he managed to win more than half of the races on his way to the title. Unfortunately, his title defense in 2016 didn’t get off to the best start as he struggled to find a setup that worked for him in the early stages of the season.
