nick would start his day in Florida ready to put the bike in yet another Main event in 2016. nick has
been a top privateer this year and he proved it again at Daytona. Schmidt put in a very impressive 23rd in qualifying. When the Heat began Schmidt took off but a poor start was the reason for a trip to the Semi qualifier. The Semi was a similar story where he was only able to salvage an 8th. Nick was ready as the gate dropped for the 450 Main Event. He charged down the start straight with determination. He was running up front for most the race till he was shuffled back to 4th where he still qualified for his 31st career Main Event. Schmidt rode a quiet Main Event with a final score of 20th overall. Another very consistent finish for Nick Schmidt. He will continue the season and continue to turn heads and gain confidence.
