round 9 of the Monster energy Supercross series was a quiet one for Jake weimer. Bad starts would hinder him throughout the night, forcing him to work from behind
in both the heat and semi race. His main event started the same way as he had a poor gate pick and was pushed wide. With the Daytona track designed very one-lined, starts were even more important than usual. We saw riders struggling to make passes in every race of the night. Riders funneled behind each other the first few laps and then spread apart rapidly. Unable to make a ton of progress after the race settled in, Jake finished the night 17th overall.
