Benny Bloss took full advantage of his opportunity with the Cycle trader/ rock river yamaha team this weekend in Daytona. Qualifying directly out of his heat race with an impressive 5th
place finish, he immediately proved to the team that they made a good decision. Starting the main event off with a horrible start, Benny found himself all the way back in 18th place and had his work cut out for him. Working his way through the pack on a track that was very difficult to pass, Bloss made it to 11th place before the checkered flag came out. Given the circumstances of his starting position and the way the track was designed, an 11th place finish was a great ride.
