With ever-changing track terrain, rising humidity, trees casting deep and dark scat- tered shadows, and he elements were proving to be a challenge in Minnesota. Noren was up for the challenge as the thirty second card rose and the gates dropped. Not grabbing the start that he was looking for, Fredrik found himself in seventeenth as he exited the sandy first turn. The number 40 was going to have to put the hammer down and work hard if he wanted to seize his right- ful place when the checkered flag flew. Noren was able to get to the fifteenth place spot by the halfway point of the moto and he was not done there as he gained two more positions before the checkered, sending himself into a hard- earned thirteenth place by the end of the first moto. An overall within the top ten was definitely imaginable for this rider out of Sweden as he prepared for the second moto of the day. The sun was high in the North Star State, sand was soaring, and racing was underway. Without missing a beat, Noren was able to continue throwing down consistent laps on inconsistent track condi- tions and finished his second moto in the tenth place spot. With a 13-10 for the day, Fredrik Noren was able to grab another great finish within the top ten and will be leaving Spring Creek with a tenth place overall.
