>> RCH/ Yoshimura/ Suzuki rider Matt Bisceglia made his return to racing at Spring Creek ready to prove to everyone that he has not missed a beat. The Oregon native lined up confidently, prepared to take on the rough and rugged hills of Minnesota. The gates dropped and Bisceglia was a true powerhouse down the deep and sandy start straight, grabbing the fifth place spot as he careened out of the first turn. After some hard fought battles, the number 43 machine found himself in the tenth place spot by the halfway point of the first moto. With temperatures rising, rut formations deepening, and shadows cast by the tall Minnesota foliage, holding onto tenth was sure to be a challenge. Bisceglia dug deep and rode with heart as he crossed the finish line within the well-deserved top ten. The sun beat down upon the riders as they lined up for the much-anticipated second moto of the day. After such an incredible start and performance in the first moto, eyes scanned the starting gate looking for Matt Bisceglia. Unfortunately, the heat was making a serious impact on riders and Bisceglia was struck with heat exhaustion. After seeing medics, it was clear that for Matt Bisceglia’s safety and health, he would have to sit out for the second moto of the day at Spring Creek. Even though Bisceglia was un- able to compete in his second moto, he surely proved where he stands based on his fantastic moto one finish. Hopefully we see Matt Bisceglia at round nine mixing things up within the top ten again.
