The two of them pushed each other until the end of the race as they both put in their personal best lap times on the ultimate lap, but Whipple was able to come out with the victory with a 1.9 second advantage at the line. Katelyn Clauss was able to hold on for 3rd place. Rachel Dennis started in 5th position and she clocked robotically consistent laps in order to catch Korie Steede for 4th place on the final lap.
In the second moto, Whipple took a different approach when she got out front early; this time she set her fastest lap of the race on the second lap and built up an advantage quickly, cruising to victory in the waning laps of the moto ahead of Clauss who put in another solid performance for 2nd place. Dennis started the race in 4th position and worked her way past the Oklahoma native of Walker on the second lap, riding a smooth moto all the way to the finish and earning herself the remaining spot on the overall podium.
