The Oklahoma native of Chandler Baker rode
an incredibly consistent race as he started and finished in 3rd; he wasn’t quite able to match the pace of the two leaders, but he showed incredible consistency to take a decisive 3rd place finish. Ethan Mann was forced to battle through the pack again after suffering a poor start. The
KTM rider was in 10th place on the opening lap and it only took him one lap around the track
to make up six positions and work his way into 4th. Unfortunately, the gap to the front three was already too large, but Mann showed his racecraft on the opening laps as he carved his way through the field like butter. The battle for the lead in the second moto took place between Masterpool and Mann as the two of them started 1st and 2nd from the gate drop. Mann put in the fastest lap time
on the second lap, but it wasn’t quite enough to break the durable resilience of Masterpool. Mann was making up some time by hucking a triple
just before the finish line, but the Yamaha rider picked up on the line and began to do it himself toward the end of the moto. Baker got a decent start in 4th position and worked his way up to 3rd place past TJ Uselman on the penultimate lap, wrapping up the 3rd overall with another result on the box.
