In the second moto, Jones pulled the holeshot and never looked back as the Texan charged away at the front of the field and eventually took the checkered ahead of Morgan by a gap of approximately 4 seconds. Morgan didn’t have it as easy as Jones did
in the final moto; he had to carve
his way through the pack after a mediocre start which put him down in 5th place on the opening lap. Morgan used his incredible pace to work his way into 2nd position on just the third lap, but that was as far as he was able to advance. Noxx Lewin found himself in a mid-race battle with Gage Dunham, the two of them trading fast laps in contention for the final podium spot, but ultimately Lewin was able
to come out on top. Kevin De Pinho set the fastest lap of the moto on the second time of trying, but a mistake on the third lap which dropped him back to 9th spoiled his chances of
an overall victory. De Pinho was down but not out, he showed undying determination to battle back to a
5th place finish which was enough
to salvage an overall podium with a stellar ride through the field.
