Soule took her KTM to the fastest lap of the race on the third time of trying, showing that she has the speed
to win with a little bit better start. Samples got out to another flying start in the second moto as the Texan led every lap of the class throughout the entire weekend. Brocato learned from the first moto and was able to challenge Samples for the lead with a little more aggression, the two of them finishing only half a second apart when the checkered flag came out.
