Mann moved up to 2nd place on lap 4 as Flock dropped out of competition. The Illinois rider of Logan Boye put in a solid performance by starting in 4th place and riding steadily throughout the entire moto, eventually ending up in 3rd place by the time he saw the checkered flag. Mason Gonzales struggled to put his Yamaha in the top 10 off the start, forcing himself to battle back from 11th on the opening lap. He did so with fierce speed as he moved all the way to 4th position by the penultimate lap, salvaging
a good finish for the overall towards the end of the moto. Texas’ Carter Halpain gave himself a little
bit more of a challenge in the second moto, putting his Yamaha in 3rd place on the opening lap. He
worked his way past Palmer Neely early on and ended up putting a move on Ethan Mann during the
second lap as he set the fastest lap of the moto in the process.
