MIKE ALESSI
Mike Alessi has enjoyed a quietly consistent 2016 Supercross season. The veteran from Victorville, California has shown flashes of brilliance throughout garnering plenty of excellent holeshots and finishes. Mike has always struggled inside the stadiums but this season was one of the better of his
career if you take into account the depth of the field. He was always hovering in and around that coveted top ten and even snagged an impressive heat race win along the way. He credits his success this season to a major change to his training program during the offseason. Mike decided it was time to shake things up and make changes for the better so he went and trained at Club MX in South Carolina. He has never been one to go to training facilities or even train with other riders so the change was definitely something fresh and needed. Now that the season is just about over, we can say that the change definitely didn’t hurt Mike at all and probably helped master his supercross skills a little bit more. He has one more chance to get another top ten finish in Las Vegas, a track that definitely suits his style.
