JAKE WEIMER
Jake Weimer has been around the block in the supercross world. He’s won titles, rode for factory teams, privateer squads and everything in between. The rider from Idaho found himself staying on one of those privateer squads, Team Tedder, at the beginning of this season. He was content with the ride as they provided him with as much support as they
could offer and it showed with some good results through the first few rounds. Those performances caught the eye of the Jimmy Johns RCH team when they needed a replacement for downed Broc Tickle. Weimer graciously accepted their offer and continued to produce. In RCH’s eyes, they liked what he was doing for them so much that they extended his ride through the end of the season even when Tickle returned. Weimer has been a good fit for the team but has had his fair share of struggles on the east coast and most of those have stemmed from bad starts. But overall he has endured a positive season with some great rides and with the season ending this weekend back west in Las Vegas, there is a strong possibility we will see Weimer back up fighting in the coveted top ten.
