CHAD REED
Becoming a victim with the lack of a late race charge, Chad Reed has lost a bit of his luster lately.
The famed #22 came off of two 9th place finishes in a row leading up to Vegas and needed some Sin
City speed before his supercross season ends. In recent years, it’s been off and on with Reed racing the outdoors so there’s no telling exactly how much of him we’ll see in the near future. With that being said, Chad came to Vegas, the same place he has won on numerous occasions, with nothing left to prove. Having mentioned a few weeks ago that he plans on going for the record of most starts in Supercross history, Reed also has a lot left of the Aussie-originated fire that we’ve all witnessed for more than a decade. It being five rounds since the last time that Reed was in the top five, Chad needs a start to confirm his fifth place finish in the 2016 series standings. As one of the most esteemed riders on the track, with hands and hands of championship deals, Reed brought the poker face to Vegas to finish the year on a high note before possibly taking a much needed vacation.
