The mudder in Las Vegas put the Venezuelan rider out of the main event for the first time this year. Anthony struggled all weekend at the final round as he even failed to qualify inside the top 20. Rodriguez made it tough on himself in his heat race starting near last all the way to 11th, just two
positions away from a direct transfer to the main event. It was time for the last chance qualifier and A-Rod found himself in the final transfer position after the holeshot. The #48 had problems with just two laps left in the LCQ and ended his main event streak at the final round. Anthony finished the whole season without injury and finished 9th overall in the series. I believe that Traders Kawasaki rider has the speed for better results but 2016 was a rebound year for the young rider and it was necessary for him to back off the throttle a little and make it to every round in the series.
