Ty’s weekend started well in california and he was able to find his speed early in practice. Back home in Texas, Ty’s dad changes their home track very often so the boys adapt very quickly to new tracks. In the first moto of Mini(12-14), Ty got off to a top ten start and pushed his way into 6th
but on Lap 4, Ty hit the dirt and was only able to salvage a 16th. The next two motos went better as he was able to finish 5th and 2nd, respectively, for a 7th overall. In the Mini Open, Ty came out swinging in the first moto and took the win in
commanding fashion. Ty finished second in moto 2 and moto 3 also which gave him 2nd place overall in the class.
