Lo and behold, the KTM pilot had a little bit of luck swing his way in the stacked Mini Sr. 1 (12-13) class. The first moto saw a truly valiant effort placed by the number 604, as he registered 25th
after lap one. Scurrying his away around an incredible fourteen riders on lap two, he charged the KTM for all she had, finishing a remarkable third to open the festivities. Moto two saw Miller lead the field after lap one and never look back, leading every lap, and setting the fastest lap time in the process; things looked great for the finale. With the title in his grasp, Miller’s solemn expression
on the line generated a third place start and quick move to the lead. He wasn’t there to play games, and it was reflected with the gap he pulled on second place, an astonishing six seconds. He would go on to take the championship home, admiring the piece of hardware that was reflective of his efforts.
