DJ MAFARLANE
theGRIT Pinellas Park, Florida’s DJ Macfarlane looked stout aboard the Hollywood Racing backed Yamaha
all week. DJ played his cards right outdoors, racing his way to some very strong results. In the 250 Pro Sport, Macfarlane rode fast and aggressive taking advantage of chaos amidst many of the other top finishers from moto one and get- ting into the top three quickly. DJ battled up into the second place position for the second moto which was more than enough to earn him the overall win. Macfarlane turned a ton of heads with his big win in the 250 Pro Sport class. After such success in Florida watch for the #182 machine to burst into the 2016 race season with a little extra passion and drive than ever before as he continues his trek to the Pro ranks.
EARL MAY
theGRIT
Team Green Kawasaki Veteran Earl May was looking good in the home state. Earl made his way back to Mini O’s for the 44th running
of the Thor Winter Olympics. May was super consistent, sticking the #82 pearl machine on the podium in every single moto he competed in during the week at Gator- back. Earl really dominated in the Masters 50+ division. May worked his way into lead in both motos, never wavering to the competition and going undefeated on his way to the 50+ overall championship earning yet another national number one plate for the wall.
