He went on to work as Ted Boody’s mechanic on the Harley Davidson Factory Racing team and continued independently as an XR750 specialist in southern Cali- fornia following his departure from the Milwaukee based brand. Storz took another leap of faith and opened the doors on his own business, Storz Performance, and has built a successful living operating a performance and parts shop. We caught up with Steve for a chat about how he worked his way into the industry, his unorthodox job interview with Harley Davidson, and what kind of bikes he rides these days. >>
