>> Bench racing chatter, water-cooler talk, what have you, the debate is always: which series is better? MXGP of the European Continent? Or The AMA Profes- sional Outdoor Series. Well folks, the talk ends this weekend, at the WW Moto- cross ranch, in Northern Florida. Riders like Max Nagl are wanting to represent their side of the pond with the utmost precision and patriotism. He started off piecing the track together link by link, flowing from one corner to another. Running through the entire stack of tearoff’s in practice rather quickly, he knew with the moist conditions that this would be a race of attrition. As the gate fell for the first moto, he was trying to situate himself as best he can, making himself a daunting ace in a deck full of cards. Slicing and sloshing through the pack, he was using every piece of this raceway to his advantage; tending to blurp the throttle, and wheelie over specific potholes when necessary. Battling with the likes of Max Anstie and Tim Gajser, his stamina remained well in tact, all the while patiently awaiting the flying of the checkered flag. It came, and he finished a solid fifth place position. For the second ringing of the bell, he came off the stool ready to fire every tool in his arsenal. The jab off the start, a quick hook in the opening bend, he was beginning to find his rhythm. Pushing forward with all of his might, he felt the wrath of Bobryshev behind. He knew he couldn’t let the opposition phase him, so he remained steadfast and looking forward, with the cold-hearted Russian knocking at his door. It would work, as those behind him would never work their way around. When all was said and done, he came across the line in eleventh, finishing sixth overall.
