ZACH OSBORNE
Zach Osborne broke through for his first moto win in America a few weeks ago at High Point. Osborne was beyond ecstatic to get that win because he knew all the hard work and adversity he has been through in his ten-year career finally paid off. He has to be one of the most respected riders out there because he has been through and seen it all. He was highly anticipated coming out of the amateur ranks
but never really materialized once he turned pro. He was expected to be a top guy contending at the front of the field but he was more of an average joe. That drove him to go to Europe to continue racing and get some experience abroad. A few years later in 2012 he felt it was time to come back home to the U.S. and podiumed a few supercrosses prompting Geico Honda to sign him for 2013. He has progressed each season after that and he looks faster and more fit than ever before aboard his Rockstar Husqvarna. The one issue that he has had this season is being able to put together two consistent motos. We’ve seen him run up front and look like the one to beat and then flounder at the tail end of the top ten in the next moto. If he can figure that out, he will be a serious threat for the win this weekend at Red Bud.
