SHANE MCELRATH
Its been a while since we have seen the TroyLeeDesigns KTM rider of Shane McElrath since his big get off in the second moto at the Southwick 338 national while battling for a podium position with Alex Martin. The crash left Shane with a concussion, a grade 3 AC separation in his shoulder,
bruised lungs, and 7 broken ribs. The saying “your only as good as your last race” is probably the most true quote in motocross, it seems like if you aren’t racing everyone forgets you and Shane should not be forgotten. Before the big crash he
was an absolute beast and filled the role as the team leader for the TLD KTM group.
