After the first main event of the day Cooper found himself in a position where he could get the overall. The #91 Yamaha rider of Justin Cooper was battling with the front of the field and was working his way to 2nd but got taken out by Sean Cantrell while he was trying to execute the pass on Pennington. Justin was able to get back going and make his way to 13th. Even though Justin had the overall in the bag before being blind sided he moved on like it was no big deal, 4-13 moto scores gave him 17 points and 8th overall.
