>> With U.S. Bank sponsoring this stadium, the thought of prize money and cash in the bank is spinning through the thoughts of many. A bonus here, a bonus there, is all many can see, when thinking about their contracts, and what a winning of the Triple Crown can entail. Marvin Musquin was thinking about what could ensue, as far as contract re-negotiations, and what an honest, clean sweep of an event like this could bring on.
It was as though an extra check was on the line during his practice session, as he lunged for the nish line stripe, absolutely every time he rounded the bend. Toying with both double and triple combinations after the start stretch, his mechanic would applaud in unison, knowing his best effort was given. He would then line up for the rst main event, as the eld would bottleneck into this tight left-hander. Rolling through the open- ing rhythm lane, he would wheel-tap the immediate triple, getting ready for the soaring takeoff that would come next. He would feel the likes of Weston Peick at his rear, a
true sixth sense that only racers have. He wouldn’t ever look back, but slowly; feel the pressure loom throughout the event’s entirety. Making one last drive through the nal two whoop sections, he would round the nal right-hander in seventh, after fading badly. Round number two, had a little bit longer duration, therefore he could take his time in getting situated. There would be no such memo, as his stoic expression of aggression transformed into moves being made on the y. Squaring up bowl turns, and wheeling through the sand section his chassis was being put into overtime, but fortunately, it would spare his mind and body. He was loose, and extremely feeling the vibe that this layout provided. He would continue to gain on Justin Brayton who sat in front, with the climax coming near the whoop section, and the “Moose” shoving Brayton wide in the following turn. After taking the lead, he would hold on, and secure moto victory. It was time to sew up a solid overall, with only a few nal stitches, and thread left to go. Each lap of the nal round, he would imprint on the results tab, checking off every piece of the puzzle that needed to be accomplished. Solid whoop skimming, little foot dabbing, and adequate throttle control, were all clear, when watching him from the outside. He and Tomac would be neck and neck, neither of the two blemishing at the sight of fear. However, he would prevail, nishing second and garnering third overall.
